On February 18, the company handed over upgraded classrooms, modern toilets, and solar-powered sustainable energy solutions.

Classrooms were furnished and ventilated to create bright, comfortable spaces for students to focus and thrive.

The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 and Ogun State’s Education Revitalization Agenda, promoting quality education and lifelong opportunities for children.

Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Ogun State, praised the project, urging other corporations to follow Unilever’s example in school infrastructure renewal.

Unilever Nigeria Managing Director Tobi Adeniyi highlighted the project’s aim to provide safe, healthy, and inspiring learning spaces, enhancing pupils’ attendance, concentration, and academic performance.

The traditional ruler, Oba Abdul-Azeez Akinde, lauded the intervention, noting its impact on the community’s spirit of hope, unity, and pride.

Unilever officials emphasized that well-equipped and welcoming classrooms motivate students, improve focus, and encourage academic and social growth.

Headmistress Mrs. Yemisi Olugbile expressed gratitude, noting that the upgraded facilities would boost pupils’ performance and reassure parents.
