Skit maker Zicsaloma clarifies that his portrayal of female characters is purely for entertainment and not indicative of his personal lifestyle, following recent allegations
Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Zicsaloma, has publicly addressed ongoing allegations that he is a crossdresser.
In a recent interview, Zicsaloma, who recently had cosmetic procedures, firmly stated that his dressing as women is solely for his comedic content and does not extend to his personal life.
Zicsaloma emphasized that his female impersonations are a comedic tool, similar to how other entertainers adopt different personas for their work.
He clarified that he does not wear makeup outside of his skits and that mimicking female mannerisms is a key aspect of his comedic style.
“I am not a crossdresser; I only dress like women for content. Mimicking females is my comic strength,” Zicsaloma stated.
He further questioned the logic of equating his character portrayals with the endorsement of crossdressing, drawing parallels to other comedians who adopt various cultural or character-based costumes for their skits.
