Held on June 11, 2025, and organized by the Faculty of Law students at the University of Lagos, the event brought together aspiring lawyers, content creators, and media professionals under one transformative theme: “Media & Law: Mark. Aim. Inspire. Now!”

The visionary behind the Summit, Princess Ellis, Public Relations Officer of the Law Students’ Society and a rising content creator, curated this initiative to empower students to think beyond the courtroom.

With sharp energy and an inclusive vision, Ellis encouraged attendees to mark their potential, aim with purpose, and inspire through action now.

The Summit featured a power-packed lineup of influential voices including Prof. Abiola Sanni (SAN), Dr. Ifeoma Oluwasemilore, Ngozi Nwosu, Bunmi Ajakaiye, Dr. Harmony Olanipekun, Tobe Szn, Osasbaby, Meshkiey, Beauty Tukura, and more.

Each speaker shared personal journeys navigating the intersections of law, content creation, and digital influence.

From legal frameworks around intellectual property and digital rights, to sessions on branding, media ethics, and personal development, the event emphasized how the media and entertainment industries thrive on creative legal minds.

Speaking at the event, Princess Ellis said, “This is about building a bridge between what we study and what we love. The media industry needs sharp legal minds. And the law needs creative storytellers.”

Students left feeling not only informed but empowered, realizing they don’t need to choose between law and passion. They can do both and excel.
