The quarter-final line‑up for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 has been confirmed following decisive Round of 16 results, with eight nations now set to contest continental glory in the last eight.

Algeria secured their place by edging the Democratic Republic of Congo 1‑0 after extra time in Rabat, with substitute Adil Boulbina scoring the 119th‑minute winner to send Les Fennecs through and set up a blockbuster tie against Nigeria.

Earlier, the Super Eagles of Nigeria booked their quarter‑final berth with a commanding 4‑0 win over Mozambique, highlighted by a double from Victor Osimhen that underlined the side’s attacking potency.

Hosts Morocco, Senegal, Mali, Cameroon and Egypt had already advanced from earlier Round of 16 matches, establishing a formidable last‑eight list alongside defending champions Côte d’Ivoire.
