The advice came via a tweet on X, where the singer emphasised the importance of relying on one’s natural voice, even without audio engineers or digital assistance.

“Dear Performing artist, get yourself a vocal coach. And if you can’t, watch tutorials on how to better your vocals. It will go a long way,” Oxlade wrote.

“I know engineers are life savers. But when the DAWs are not present and the spotlight is on you, you really get no choice than to use your natural God-given voice. Invest in thyself. As long as that thing dey make you money.”

Oxlade’s message highlights the significance of self-reliance for performers, particularly during live shows when technical support may be limited.

He suggested that artists who cannot afford professional coaching can turn to online tutorials to strengthen their vocal ability.

The singer has previously shared tips on performance preparation, including the need for sound checks and audience engagement, reinforcing his stance on professional development in the music industry.
