Social media personality Tunde Ednut has reacted to the ongoing DNA controversy involving Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and a teenager, Anu, who claims to be his daughter.

Defending the singer, Tunde Ednut stated that Anu does not share the distinct facial resemblance common among Davido’s five children.

According to him, all of the singer’s children strongly resemble their father, a trait he claimed is absent in the teenager at the centre of the controversy.

“All Davido’s children resemble Davido. This one no even almost resemble am. It’s enough,” Ednut wrote in a post shared on Instagram.

He added that Davido had reportedly undergone five DNA tests, all of which returned negative results.

Davido has five children, including Imade, Hailey, Dawson, and a set of twins with his wife, Chioma Rowland, whose faces have not been publicly revealed.

The reaction followed Anu’s earlier social media post in which she called for a DNA test to establish her identity.

She claimed she had suffered bullying and emotional distress, alleging that classmates mocked her over her claim of being Davido’s daughter.

In response, Davido disclosed that multiple DNA tests had already been conducted, all confirming that he is not her biological father.

He further revealed that his father, billionaire businessman Dr Adedeji Adeleke, insisted on the tests to clear any doubts surrounding the claim.

Tunde Ednut’s comments sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users disagreeing with his stance.

Several commenters argued that resemblance alone cannot determine paternity, while others expressed sympathy for Davido over what they described as prolonged public pressure and harassment.

Despite the backlash, Ednut maintained his position, urging the public to respect the DNA results and allow the matter to rest.
