Crainsten Partners issues caveat emptor over aircraft sale, warning buyers of ownership dispute involving Global 6000 SN9471

Crainsten Partners has issued a formal caveat emptor advisory warning prospective buyers over the sale of an aircraft amid an unresolved dispute concerning ownership and authority to transfer title.

The advisory relates to aircraft M-MYNA (GLEX6000), identified as Global 6000 serial number SN9471, which is registered in the Isle of Man aircraft registry.

In a statement titled “Caveat Emptor – Aircraft Ownership Contention (Global Jurisdiction)”, the law firm stressed that public records do not conclusively establish legal ownership or the right to sell the aircraft.

Crainsten Partners warned that interested buyers must conduct independent verification across relevant aviation registries and jurisdictions before proceeding with any transaction involving the aircraft.

The firm noted that while no liens or encumbrances are currently disclosed in the Isle of Man registry, this does not eliminate the possibility of competing claims or unresolved legal issues surrounding ownership.

It further cautioned that all parties should comply strictly with international aviation regulations and seek qualified legal and aviation counsel before engaging in any transaction.

The advisory explicitly stated that it does not waive rights or imply uncontested ownership, urging potential buyers to proceed at their own risk.

Crainsten Partners also advised against any purchase or dealings related to the aircraft until the dispute is fully resolved, reinforcing the seriousness of the ownership contention.
