Speaking during a political programme, Oro Oselu, aired on Uniq FM in Ilesa, Salaam said his administration would focus on practical governance and policies capable of improving the lives of residents.

According to a statement released by his media office in Osogbo on Tuesday, the former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly said he remains committed to development-driven politics rather than political distractions.

The Najeem Salaam electricity plan centres on improving power supply through strategic engagement with investors and stakeholders in the energy sector.

Salaam stated that he has been holding consultations aimed at finding lasting solutions to the persistent electricity problems affecting homes, businesses and industries across Osun State.

He described stable electricity as essential for economic growth, industrial expansion, job creation and the survival of small and medium-scale enterprises.

The ADC candidate stressed that meaningful development cannot thrive in an environment plagued by poor electricity supply.

He assured residents that his administration would explore partnerships and innovative energy solutions to improve power generation and distribution across the state.

Salaam added that the people of Osun deserve leadership driven by vision, peace and practical solutions capable of restoring sustainable development.

Political activities have continued to intensify ahead of the governorship election, with major candidates unveiling policy agendas and campaign promises.
