Federal Government has launched Rev360, a new digital tax administration platform designed to enhance compliance, simplify taxpayer interactions and boost revenue collection in Nigeria

The Federal Government on Wednesday launched Rev360, a comprehensive digital tax administration platform, as part of ongoing reforms to modernise Nigeria’s tax system and improve revenue generation.

The platform was unveiled at the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) headquarters in Abuja during an event attended by senior government officials, development partners, professional bodies, business associations, tax consultants and taxpayers.

Representing the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Taiwo Oyedele, Permanent Secretary (Special Duties) Mohammed Danjuma described Rev360 as a major milestone in the modernisation of the country’s revenue architecture.

He emphasised that efficient tax administration is critical to economic growth as it promotes voluntary compliance, enhances transparency and boosts investor confidence.

Oyedele said: “When tax administration becomes more efficient, compliance becomes easier. When compliance becomes easier, businesses can focus more on growth and productivity.”

He added that initiatives like Rev360 will play a vital role in strengthening governance and creating a more enabling environment for businesses as Nigeria pursues greater economic competitiveness.

Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole, stated that the platform would support the government’s ease of doing business agenda and its ambition to build a $1 trillion economy.

Oduwole commended the leadership of the NRS for embracing technology and improving service delivery to taxpayers and businesses.

The Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, Zacch Adedeji, described Rev360 as a symbol of the agency’s transformation into a technology-driven organisation.

“Nigerian Revenue Service is no more an accounting agency. It’s now a technology agency,” Adedeji said. “This is the future… We just have to build that future. And I think that is what NRS is doing today.”

The Executive Director of the Medium and Emerging Taxpayers Group, Bolaji Akintola, noted that the platform was designed to significantly improve the taxpayer experience through easier registration, filing, payment and support services.

Chief of Staff to the NRS Chairman, Mr Tayo Koleosho, explained that Rev360 is a one-stop integrated platform covering registration, assessment, payment, audit, customer service and compliance management.

The Executive Director of Technology at NRS, Mr Iniabasi Akpan, said the platform integrates all key processes into a single intelligent ecosystem, marking the shift from mere digital administration to intelligent administration.

The launch featured live demonstrations of the platform’s features and a panel discussion on implementation and stakeholder engagement.

The NRS said Rev360 will support its vision of building a modern, efficient, transparent and data-driven revenue system capable of meeting the needs of taxpayers and the Nigerian economy.
