lawmakers stormed the Green Chamber in a dramatic escalation of tensions following moves to exclude Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere from emerging as Minority Leader of the House.

Upon the resumption of plenary, members of the G-60 Caucus disrupted proceedings, insisting that the leadership must address the matter without delay or risk a complete halt of legislative business.

The protest, described by observers as a forceful show of dissent, underscored deepening divisions within the opposition ranks over the distribution of leadership roles in the lower chamber.
