Peller’s Friend Criticism

A TikTok star’s friend criticises a N2M credit, claiming it’s insufficient, leading to a social media backlash over entitlement

An old friend of TikTok star and influencer Peller has taken to social media to express dissatisfaction after receiving a N2 million credit from the content creator.

The friend, who had previously collaborated with Peller in creating content, voiced frustration that the amount was insufficient for his needs, claiming that Peller had “left him behind” despite their shared journey in the digital world.

In his post, the young man appealed directly to Peller and his followers, saying, “Abeg make Una help me beg Peller, him don credit me N2M but it’s not enough. Please carry me along.

Na me and you dey do videos you dey give me N2M wetin N2M wan do for me? You leave me for Ikorodu I still dey suffer for here…”

The post quickly gained attention online, sparking mixed reactions. Many social media users were critical of the friend’s sense of entitlement, while others weighed in with differing opinions about the appropriateness of the credit amount and Peller’s responsibility.

One user, @ballzy_physio, condemned the friend’s attitude, saying, “I have always known that there are people who are ingrates and feel entitled to other people’s money and success, but each day, humans find a way to push the boundaries of how ungrateful they can be. If you have a friend like this around you, block them today.”

Another commenter, @thealexisjunior, simply stated, “This guy greedy,” expressing frustration at the friend’s expectation for more despite the N2 million credit.

Some users, however, saw the situation differently. @chrisdaramola_1 suggested that with the N2 million, the friend could easily start his own video production business, adding, “You should be able to get a good phone and other things you need to start your video production, but it seems like you are the person that finished the Apple Adam and Eve ate from…”

Yet, others seemed to empathise with Peller’s decision to distance himself from the friend. @olatu125 commented, “Now I see why dem no carry u along! At this rate, u fit collect Jarvis,” referring to another social media figure, hinting that the friend’s behaviour may have led to his exclusion from future collaborations.

The incident has raised questions about expectations and fairness within the influencer and content creator community, with the balance of friendship and business often blurring in the world of online stardom.
