Broadcaster Kokoro Oro celebrates 20 years on air with a grand event featuring King Dr. Saheed Osupa, a book launch, and awards presentation

Popular broadcaster Ademuyiwa Adedeji, known as Kokoro Oro, is set to host a grand celebration marking his 20th year on air. The event, scheduled for Sunday, 11th May 2025, at MercyLand Hall, Idiroko, Ipokia Local Government, Ogun State, will feature a triple celebration, including a book launch, an awards presentation, and the anniversary commemoration.

“Kokoro Oro as fondly called is prepared to set a bigger stage where the industry afficionados are warming up to grace.”

The event is expected to attract a host of dignitaries, social figures, and media veterans. A highlight of the celebration will be a performance by King Dr. Saheed Osupa, who previously entertained attendees at Kokoro Oro’s 15th-anniversary event five years ago.

Kokoro Oro, a multiple award-winning journalist, is renowned for his radio shows, particularly “JAWONIKA,” which translates to “desist from misdemeanours,” broadcast across several radio stations in southwest Nigeria.

Prince Adedeji, as he is also known, is planning a large-scale event to honour his two decades in broadcasting.
