Adamawa police arrest robbery suspects in a swift operation that also led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle, following credible intelligence received by the Command.
The suspects were apprehended by operatives from the Yolde Pate Divisional Police Headquarters under the leadership of SP Abdullahi Abubakar.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, confirmed that two individuals, Emmanuel Sale aged 28 and Jibrilla Hassan aged 36, were arrested.
Both are residents of Sabon Gari in Jalingo and are believed to be linked to the robbery case currently under investigation.
The successful recovery of the stolen vehicle was the result of a coordinated police response based on actionable information. This reflects the growing effectiveness of community-police collaboration in the fight against crime across the state.
Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morris praised the officers involved for their prompt and professional handling of the situation.
He has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yola to ensure a thorough and discreet investigation, followed by diligent prosecution.
The Adamawa Police Command reiterated its commitment to maintaining public safety and bringing all criminal elements to justice.
