Laoye will reveal exciting plans for this year’s festival, promising a grand cultural celebration in Ede, Osun State.

A proud tradition among the Ede people, the Ajilala Oso Festival is fast becoming one of Yoruba land’s most anticipated cultural events.

Renowned for its colourful showcase of aso adire, traditional foods, dance, and music, this year’s edition is being designed to rival the most iconic festivals in the region.

Prince Laoye, a global ambassador for African arts and heritage, affirmed his commitment to partnering with Kabiyesi, the Ede community, and cultural stakeholders to stage a landmark edition of the festival in 2025.

This year’s festival will spotlight Ede’s beauty, tradition, and cultural richness like never before,” said Prince Laoye.

With its deep cultural significance and growing popularity among locals and tourists, the Ajilala Oso Festival continues to position Ede as a major destination for cultural tourism in Nigeria.

Listeners are encouraged to tune in to OSBC this afternoon as host Oolaide Alafe Oloro engages Prince Laoye in what promises to be an enlightening conversation about Ede’s heritage and the festival’s exciting future.
