The message, signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, urged citizens to embrace compassion, forgiveness, and unity.

Akpabio called on Muslims to extend empathy and generosity, particularly to the less privileged, while sending wishes to President Bola Tinubu and all Nigerians for peace and prosperity.

“This joyous celebration reminds us of the profound values of compassion, forgiveness, and unity that Eid-el-Fitr embodies,” he said.

Similarly, All Progressives Congress candidate for the 2026 Osun off-cycle governorship election, Bola Oyebamiji, extended warm greetings to Muslims in Osun State.

He commended their spiritual dedication during Ramadan and encouraged residents to uphold patience, discipline, and compassion in daily life. Oyebamiji stressed that these virtues should guide efforts to build a peaceful and progressive state.

APC National Secretary Ajibola Basiru also urged Nigerians to sustain the spiritual discipline of Ramadan, continuing prayers for national unity and progress.

He highlighted the importance of continuous charity and righteousness, while emphasising collective action to address insecurity and support economic reforms under President Tinubu’s administration.
