Speaking at the launch, APC Publicity Secretary and Coordinator of the exercise, Alhaji Yusuf Idris, said the initiative was vital for the party’s credibility, future planning, and alignment with President Bola Tinubu’s vision for digital innovation in internal party processes.

“This exercise is very important, not just for our party, but also for the leader of our party, the president,” Idris said. “It will provide equal opportunities for members to participate fully in party activities and aspire to leadership positions at all levels.”

A total of 294 agents were engaged to work directly with party members across the state, supervised by 14 local government coordinators.

The structure also includes three senatorial administrators and a state coordinating officer to oversee the process. Idris emphasised that the exercise would ensure a credible and accurate membership database while promoting unity within the party.

The e-registration initiative will serve as a prerequisite for members wishing to contest elective positions or participate in future APC congresses. Idris called on party members to encourage supporters to register and take advantage of the digital platform.

He commended party leaders in the state, including Minister of State for Defence Dr Bello Matawalle, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, and Zamfara State Chairman Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, for their support. Idris tasked all executive members to ensure the success of the programme.
