Franck Ribery declares Bayern Munich the biggest favourite to win the UEFA Champions League this season ahead of their clash with Atalanta
Former Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has named the Bundesliga side as the biggest favourites to win this season’s UEFA Champions League.

Ribery made the comments ahead of Bayern Munich’s Round of 16 second-leg fixture against Atalanta on Wednesday. Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he emphasised the team’s strength and current form.
“I can say clearly, yes. Bayern is not only extremely strong, but also in good shape. In my opinion, they are the biggest favourite to win the Champions League,” Ribery said.
Bayern Munich dominated the first leg in Italy last week, defeating Atalanta 6-1, leaving them in a commanding position to progress to the quarter-finals.

The Frenchman’s endorsement adds to growing expectations around Bayern’s Champions League campaign this season, highlighting the club’s formidable attacking and defensive units.
