Chelsea Football Club have finalised an agreement to sign Spanish defender Pep Chavarría, with the player travelling to England for medical examinations and contract formalities.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Chavarría was heading to England on Friday after Chelsea completed a deal worth €19 million plus €2 million in add-ons.
