The makeup artist shared her story during an appearance on the podcast Diary of a Naija Girl.

Diiadem Adeola explained that the abuse began when she was six weeks pregnant, describing repeated instances of physical assault by her husband.

She said she initially excused his behaviour, blaming herself for “talking too much,” before recognising the severity of the situation.

The reality star continued with her introduction ceremony due to family pressure but confirmed that she had already decided to leave the marriage.

Diiadem Adeola emphasised that she would never tolerate domestic violence and pledged to intervene if she sees others in similar situations.

“I was six weeks pregnant when he first started to hit me. I only proceeded with our introduction because of family pressure, but I knew I wasn’t getting married to him. Anyone I know can’t go through domestic violence on my watch,” she said.
