The EFCC disclosed the arrest in a statement following a viral video showing Ikechukwu, also known as “Easy-Money,” allegedly mishandling naira notes in a hotel room.

“The suspect was seen recording himself while abusing naira notes in his hotel room during his birthday celebration,” the EFCC said.

The agency noted that the act violates Section 21 of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act 2007, which prohibits the abuse of Nigerian currency.
