Eid-ul-Fitr: Katsina, Jigawa and Kano declare Friday public holiday
Katsina, Jigawa and Kano state government have added Friday May 14 as Public Holiday to mark the Eid-ul-Fitr Sallah celebration.
The information was disclosed by representatives of the state after a conclusion was reached on Wednesday May 12. The state governments of the three states added Friday to the two-days Eid holiday declared by the Federal Government.
Muslims were urged to continually pray for peace in their states and the country as well.
