Federal Secretariat Fire: Blaze engulfs Head of Civil Service Office in Abuja, prompting traffic diversions. Cause remains unknown

Panic erupted at the Federal Secretariat on Monday morning as fire engulfed part of the building.

Reports indicate that the blaze affected the Head of Civil Service Office section of the Secretariat, forcing a diversion of traffic from the Federal Court of Appeal area.

At the time of reporting, authorities have not determined the cause of the fire, and emergency services were on site to contain the situation.
