The meeting, held at Iretura Media Hub, 34 Meiran Road, Meiran Bus Stop, was tagged Celebration Thursday and brought together nearly 20 passionate individuals from across Alimosho and beyond.

The Rotary Club of Ikeja Township, which is on its way to being chartered by RC Ikeja-Alausa, is led by Rtn. Amb. Ariyike Olukayode as Incoming Chartered President, with Rtn. Victor Ojelabi as her Vice President.

The atmosphere was vibrant and hopeful. Present at the gathering were club adviser PP Dr. Adebukola Soile-Balogun of RC Ikeja-Alausa Central; CP Awogboro Olukunle (PKA) of RC Royal Metro; Rtn. Elizabeth Azubuike of RC Ikeja-Alausa; Rtn. Desmond Eyalihion, and Rotaractor Oye Ogunsakin of Rotaract Club of Ikorodu Golden.

Also in attendance were enthusiastic guests and prospects including Jimoh Temitope, Ayoola Folake, Jeremiah Agada, Bakare Ayodele, Ariyike Ramat Yussuf, Adenike Ajayi, Lukman Omikunle, Oladipupo Idowu, Olawale Ayanda, Omoniyi Veronica, Olukayode Fadeke, and Prince Kunle Awogboru.

A standout moment of the night was when the new club adopted the energetic slogan “We full ground!” — proposed by VP Ojelabi — capturing the spirit and drive of the group.

Guests were not only introduced to the Rotary values of service, leadership, and fellowship, but also enjoyed delicious refreshments and built new friendships and business connections.

The Rotary Club of Ikeja Township continues to meet every Thursday at Iretura Media Hub, 5:30 pm for 6:00 pm. With passion and people, the club is fast becoming a pillar of the community.
