Ladipoe addresses Odumodublvck rumour, dismisses beef claims, and praises the rapper’s unique style and importance to Nigeria’s evolving rap scene
Ladipoe Odumodublvck Rumour has been dismissed by Nigerian rapper Ladipo Eso, known professionally as Ladipoe, who says there is no bad blood between him and Odumodublvck.
Speaking on Wednesday during an appearance on Line by Line, Ladipoe addressed speculations suggesting there was tension between both rappers.
He described the rumours as tired narratives that do more harm than good to the rap community.
“I like him. I feel like he’s a necessary voice. I rap the way I rap, and he raps the way he raps that sound is needed,” Ladipoe explained.
“It’s like Jay-Z, Nas, DMX… voices that stood out. I feel like OD has an arresting presence on tracks. He has his own flow. That’s what keeps rap interesting.”

The Mavin Records artiste also clarified that the lyrics that allegedly sparked the speculation were never directed at Odumodublvck.
According to him, he had not even known the rapper when the track was recorded.
“It keeps rap evolving and moving. I respect his music. We’ve met a few times and have a good relationship,” he added.
“But was that a sub for him? How? It’s an old track. I didn’t know OD then. It just shows how relevant the lyrics are.”
Fans online have welcomed Ladipoe’s clarification, praising both artistes for their authenticity and distinct contributions to Nigerian hip hop.
