Senator Ned Nwoko announces free JAMB UTME registration for 1,500 students from Delta North to support access to higher education
Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has launched a free JAMB UTME registration scheme for 1,500 students from the district, following the start of the 2026 UTME nationwide.
Announcing the initiative on his official X page on Wednesday, Nwoko said the program is driven by his belief that “education is the foundation upon which lasting development is built” and that no qualified student should be denied access due to financial constraints.
“In furtherance of my commitment to human capital development, I am pleased to announce the commencement of a free JAMB UTME registration drive for 1,500 students from Delta North Senatorial District for the 2026 academic year,” Nwoko said.
Eligible Students and Registration Process
The free registration covers students from:
- Aniocha North and South
- Ika North East and South
- Ndokwa East and West
- Oshimili North and South
- Ukwuani Local Government Areas
Applicants must:
- Be 16 years or older by 30 September 2026
- Generate a JAMB profile code using their National Identification Number (NIN)
- Provide their full name, JAMB profile code, and council ward for verification

JAMB Registration Details
UTME registration: 26 January – 28 February 2026
e-PIN vending: 19 January – 26 February 2026
Direct Entry registration: 2 March – 25 April 2026 (at JAMB offices only)
JAMB announced three categories of e-PINs for the 2026 exercise:
- Direct Entry: ₦5,700
- UTME only (without mock): ₦7,200
- UTME with mock: ₦8,700
Charges cover application fees, reading texts, CBT registration, service charges, bank fees, and mock exams where applicable.
