The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, hosted Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, at his Ikeja GRA residence on Tuesday.

Jandor, who was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the 2023 elections, officially rejoined the APC in March.

Welcoming him, Obasa said:

“We are happy to have you back. This is a very good move. The APC is the only political platform that truly reflects the aspirations of Lagosians and Nigerians.”

The Speaker assured Jandor of full reintegration, emphasizing that the party’s inclusive structure provides the right platform for unity, collaboration, and development. He also praised Jandor for his courage and conviction in returning.

In response, Jandor expressed gratitude for the warm reception and pledged his commitment to strengthening the APC’s vision.

“It is only through unity of purpose, shared sacrifice, and responsible leadership that we can secure a brighter and more prosperous future for every Nigerian,” he said.

He further applauded President Bola Tinubu’s ongoing economic reforms, noting that although demanding, they are courageous steps toward re-engineering the nation’s economy and laying a firm foundation for long-term prosperity.
