The exercise was led by Commissioner of Police Adebowale Lawal, Amotekun Commander Adetunji Adeleye, and the Commanding Officer of 323 Artillery Brigade.

Adeleye stated that the operation will extend beyond towns to forests and other remote areas, ensuring that kidnapping and other crimes are curtailed.

He emphasized that the exercise is continuous and aims to stamp out criminality across the state.

Lawal highlighted that the coordinated effort also demonstrates the state’s preparedness for the upcoming Sallah celebrations, showing citizens that security agencies have fully “occupied the space” and are committed to public safety.
