Senator Gbenga Daniel celebrates Ooni Ogunwusi’s 10th coronation anniversary, praising his decade of unity, peace, and cultural renaissance

The Fesojoye of Ile-Ife and Senator of the Federal Republic, Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel, has extolled His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Babatunde Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, for a decade defined by peace, unity, and cultural renaissance across the Yoruba nation.

In a goodwill message marking the monarch’s 10th coronation anniversary, Otunba Daniel congratulated the Ooni for his visionary leadership, which he said has rekindled the splendour, dignity, and pride of Yoruba heritage.

He lauded the Ooni for embodying wisdom, unity, and modern cultural revival through his consistent promotion of African fashion, indigenous spirituality, and tourism, noting that the monarch’s reign has effectively bridged tradition and modernity while safeguarding the sacred values of the Yoruba people.

According to the former governor of Ogun State, Ooni Ogunwusi’s decade-long reign has illuminated paths of peace, progress, and purpose, inspiring not only the Yoruba nation but also the wider human community.

Daniel further commended the monarch’s commitment to youth empowerment, women inclusion, and interfaith harmony, describing these efforts as “a testament to divine guidance and noble leadership.”

“As your loyal son and the Fesojoye of this hallowed land, I remain proud to identify with your glorious reign,” Daniel said. “May the Almighty continue to grant Your Imperial Majesty strength, long life, and divine wisdom to further elevate Ile-Ife and the Yoruba race.”
