Polaris Bank offers free nationwide breast and prostate cancer screenings, promoting early detection and awareness

Polaris Bank has launched a nationwide free breast cancer screening initiative in collaboration with its NGO partner, Care Organisation and Public Enlightenment (C.O.P.E), in commemoration of World Cancer Day on February 4, 2026.

The initiative targets early detection, awareness, and preventive care, reflecting the bank’s commitment to community health and social impact.

The program will offer free comprehensive breast cancer screenings for 100 women across Nigeria.

In addition, Polaris Bank continues to support an ongoing free prostate cancer screening programme for 250 men aged 40 and above at the Men’s Clinic, 18 Commercial Avenue, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.

Rasheed Bolarinwa, Group Head of Brand Management & Corporate Communications at Polaris Bank, emphasized the importance of early detection in the fight against cancer.

He added that the initiative removes financial barriers and brings healthcare closer to communities, empowering individuals to seek timely medical intervention.

The flagship breast cancer screening event will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the C.O.P.E Centre, 39B Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Participants must be women with a Polaris Bank account and pre-register via **bit.ly/BCS2026**.

While the breast cancer program focuses on women, men are encouraged to support the health of their families by promoting participation among female relatives.
