Police, DSS arrests kidnappers of 11 Bwari residents
Police Command of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Wednesday, arrested 11 persons who were recently abducted along Bwari Axis and held hostage at an unknown location by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.
The Force tactical squad, operatives of the Department of State Security Service (DSS) stormed the criminals’ hideout on Wednesday May 26, following actionable intelligence.
Members of local vigilantes and hunters also supplied useful information and support in the operation. One of the kidnappers was apprehended by the police squad and efforts to apprehend others are ongoing.
