The partnership marks a major step in the district’s 2025–2026 plan to deepen youth engagement and introduce children early to Rotary’s core values, including service, leadership and community responsibility.

Speaking on behalf of the committee, Chairperson Rtn. CP Oyebola Adeyanju of the Rotary Club of Dolphin Estate reaffirmed Rotary International’s longstanding commitment to grooming young leaders through teamwork, creativity and character-building activities.

“Our Rotakids represent the future of community leadership,” Adeyanju said.

“This celebration is designed to help each child grow in confidence and purpose. We deeply appreciate the families who support this vision and continue to believe in the strength of the Rotakids programme.”

In a joint message, the executive members of the Rotakids Committee underscored the role of families in sustaining Rotary ideals across generations.

They noted that early involvement helps children understand the value of service while building unity in their homes and communities.

“Family is at the heart of Rotary. By involving our children early, we strengthen the culture of service and ensure continuity of Rotary ideals across generations,” the message read.

“This year’s event is focused on fun, learning and unity—elements essential for raising well-rounded future leaders.”

Aside from the chairperson, other members of the committee include Rtn. Ronke Akeredolu (Vice Chair), Rtn. CP Enitan Oteju Ibironke (Secretary, RC Ikeja Legend), Rtn. Elizabeth Azubike (Protocol), Rtn. Ibijoke Popoola (Club Liaison, Lagos), and Rtn. Marvin Arogundade (Club Liaison, Ogun).
