As part of the strategic upgrade, SAHCO received a state-of-the-art pushback tractor manufactured by Goldhofer.

The Goldhofer F300, powered by a robust diesel engine, is designed to service most wide-body aircraft and built with durable materials suited to Nigeria’s operating conditions.

The tractor has already been deployed at one of the company’s hub stations to strengthen service delivery standards.

In addition, the company has procured five Ground Power Units (GPUs) from Guinault.

Each unit offers a capacity of 45kVA on 115 volts and 115 on 28VDC, providing reliable electrical power to aircraft systems while on the ground.

Powered by fuel-efficient gasoline engines, the GPUs are designed for durability, portability, and superior ramp performance.

According to SAHCO, the advanced GPUs can support most Class A aircraft and select Class B aircraft.
