Led by head coach Justine Madugu, the squad will face Portugal in an international friendly next Monday before continuing their build-up in Morocco.

Following the fixture against the Europeans, the Falcons will travel directly to Morocco to fine-tune their readiness for the continental tournament.

While there, they are scheduled to play another warm-up match against Ghana’s Black Princesses, adding further competitive edge to their training camp.

The Nigerian team is aiming to secure a record-extending tenth WAFCON title. Placed in Group B alongside Tunisia, Botswana, and Algeria, the Super Falcons will play all their group matches at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.

Their campaign kicks off against Tunisia on Sunday, July 6, and expectations are high for a dominant performance from the reigning African giants.
