Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has become a minority owner of French club Le Mans FC.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Courtois made the investment through Nxt Play, an investment company he co-founded.

The investor group already includes notable figures such as Novak Djokovic, Felipe Massa, and Kevin Magnussen.

Le Mans currently sits fifth in the Ligue 2 table, just three points behind leaders Troyes. Courtois’ involvement follows in the footsteps of his teammate Kylian Mbappe, who purchased French professional club Caen in 2024.
