Lagos Speaker Mudashiru Obasa commends Tinubu’s leadership on Democracy Day and urges citizens to engage actively in building Nigeria’s democratic future

As Nigeria commemorates Democracy Day on June 12, Lagos Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dr. Mudashiru Obasa, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership and called on citizens to strengthen democratic values through active civic participation.

Lagos Speaker Obasa, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Dave Agboola, described Tinubu’s presidency as a source of renewed hope, applauding achievements in national security, economic progress, and grassroots empowerment.

With local government elections approaching in Lagos, Obasa appealed for support for all APC candidates, framing the polls as an opportunity to reinforce effective leadership and policy continuity.

He said electing competent representatives would secure progress in infrastructure, social services, and community development.
