Tonto Dikeh warns TikTok impersonator defrauding fans, says culprit will face jail as investigations are underway
Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has issued a stern warning to an unknown individual allegedly impersonating her on TikTok to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The actress shared the warning online on Tuesday, January 21, 2026, vowing that the culprit would face legal consequences if caught.
“To the girl impersonating me on TikTok, collecting money and claiming to be me, if we catch you, nobody will save you. I don’t back down when people plead on social media. You will definitely go to jail,” Dikeh stated.
The actress disclosed that relevant law enforcement agencies have been alerted, and investigations are already underway to identify the operator of the fake account.
Dikeh also urged her fans and followers to remain cautious, emphasising that she does not solicit money online and advising the public to immediately report suspicious accounts using her identity.
In recent years, Tonto Dikeh has consistently spoken out against online scams and identity theft, highlighting how fraudsters exploit the popularity of public figures to deceive innocent victims on social media platforms.
