The club confirmed the injury today, Thursday, April 25, 2025, following medical tests.

The French international is now set to miss the remainder of the season, a significant blow for Real Madrid as they enter crucial stages of competition.

This includes the highly anticipated Copa del Rey final against arch-rivals Barcelona scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville.

Camavinga will also be unavailable for Real Madrid’s final five La Liga matches as they aim to close the gap on league leaders Barcelona.

Further reports suggest that the 22-year-old midfielder could be sidelined for approximately three months, potentially ruling him out of the revamped FIFA Club World Cup, which is set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025.

Camavinga, who played a pivotal role in Real Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League double conquest last season, has featured in 39 matches for the club this season, contributing 3 goals and 2 assists across all competitions.

Real Madrid currently sits second in La Liga, four points behind Barcelona with five games remaining.
