Ndidi Beşiktaş One Match Suspension confirmed as the Super Eagles captain misses Alanyaspor clash after a fourth booking in Turkey

Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, a defensive midfielder for Beşiktaş, has been handed a one-match suspension in Istanbul, Turkey, ruling him out of the club’s upcoming Turkish Super Lig fixture against Alanyaspor this weekend.

Wilfred Ndidi’s suspension follows the accumulation of his fourth yellow card of the season, which he received during Beşiktaş’s narrow 1-0 defeat to Fenerbahçe last weekend.

The booking triggered an automatic ban under league regulations, temporarily halting his run in the starting lineup.

The Ndidi Beşiktaş One Match Suspension comes at a challenging moment for the Istanbul based side as they continue their push in the Turkish Super Lig.

Beşiktaş currently occupy fourth position on the league table, with consistency seen as key to maintaining their standing.

Since joining the club last summer, Wilfred Ndidi has been a steady presence in midfield, contributing both defensively and offensively.

The Nigerian international has recorded two goals and one assist in 25 league appearances, reflecting his influence beyond his primary role as a ball winning midfielder.

Beşiktaş will now look to adjust their midfield structure in Ndidi’s absence as they prepare to host Alanyaspor.

His suspension is expected to test the squad’s depth, while also presenting an opportunity for another player to step into a pivotal role in the centre of the pitch.
