Joao Pedro doubled the lead in the 65th minute, calmly finishing a defence-splitting pass. His intelligent positioning and composure highlighted his growing influence in Maresca’s revitalised squad.

The final flourish came from substitute Pedro Neto in the 73rd minute, capping a slick team move initiated by Garnacho, who delivered his second assist of the night. Chelsea’s attack was clinical, while Wolves managed just one shot on target throughout the match.
