Highlighting Calabar’s historic role in Nigerian sports, he assured visitors and athletes of the city’s hospitality and readiness, adding that his administration has revitalised sports development over the past two years.

Otu commended Dorncklaimz Enamhe, Executive Secretary of the NUGA 2026 Local Organising Committee, for his commitment and pledged full support to ensure a memorable tournament.
