US-based rapper Iggy Azalea reveals Nigerian Afrobeats star Victony as her favourite artist, praising his unique sound that has become a key part of her daily playlist
Iggy Azalea revealed Victony as her current favourite artist, highlighting the rising global influence of Nigerian Afrobeats music.

The US-based Australian rapper revealed during a livestream with streamer N3on that she discovered Victony on Apple Music through a collaboration and instantly fell in love with his sound.
“I like Victony. He’s an Afrobeats artist. He’s on fire. I found him on Apple Music while listening to a collaboration he did with another artist, and I fell in love with his sound. Now, he is one of my soundtracks in the shower,” Iggy Azalea said.

During his tenure, he negotiated major international partnerships with organisations including Viacom, MTV Base Africa, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the English Premier League.
He also played a major role in pioneering Cineplex culture in Nigeria and West Africa, while leading the development of Silverbird Galleria projects and cinema expansions across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Ghana, and Kenya.
Mr. Roy Murray-Bruce currently serves on the boards of several companies including Silverbird Group, Silverbird Entertainment Ghana, Silverbird West Africa, Domino Group of Companies, and SAMUELSON Consulting Group, where he provides strategic guidance and governance oversight.
