Court of Appeal dismisses Uche Secondus’ application to stop PDP convention.
Recall that an Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt on Thursday reserved ruling on an appeal filed by the suspended National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Uche Secondus, urging the court to suspend the party’s national convention scheduled for October 30 and 31, 2021 in Abuja respectively.
However, in a ruling on Friday, led by Justice Haruna Tsammani the Uche Secondus application was nolified.
Crystal News reports that the Degema Division of the Rivers State High Court had suspended Uche Secondus in August after a party chieftain Ernest Ibeawuchi and others sought an interim injunction of the court to prevent the PDP leader from parading himself as national chairman of the PDP.
