Yuletide: Hon. Funke Olaleye Felicitates With Christians

The Assistant Financial Secretary, All Progressives Congress, Lagos State, Hon (Evang) Funke Olaleye has called on Christians to imbibe the spirit of Christ during Christmas. 

Funke Olaleye urged Christians to be thankful for surmounting the challenges of 2021 as they have been made a conqueror through Christ whose birth the world is celebrating.

She said “We should all take a clue from the birth of Christ which we are all celebrating. As His followers, we should imbibe His ways. We should learn to love each other because Christ is love. We should embrace humility because Christ is the definition of humility as He was born in a manger. The birth of Jesus means that we are no longer in darkness because He has come to light up the world and free us from the shackles of darkness.

“His birth holds significant meaning for us as Christians because He overcame the world and through Him, we are more than conquerors. Above all, Christ’s birth means redemption for our souls.”

Hon (Evang) Olaleye used the opportunity to wish her friends, family, business associates, party faithful, political leaders, the people of Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos State and Nigeria at large a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Year ahead.
