The Federal Government has extended the NIN-SIM verification exercise by three months.
The earlier deadline of December 31, 2021, has been extended to March 31, 2022.
This was issued in a statement jointly signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr Ike Adinde and Head of Corporate Communications, National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Kayode Adegoke, on Friday.
According to NCC and NIMC, as of December 30, 2021, the identity commission has over 14,000 enrolment centers set up across the country to facilitate and fast-track the process.
