Travels, Tours and Hospitality Industry can improve Nigeria’s Foreign Exchange and GDP- MD/CEO Climax Travels and Tours, Jamiu Abiodun Ojediran

Ojediran

Mr Jamiu Abiodun Ojediran, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Climax Travel and Tours, and Climax Entertainment and Events whose companies have been adding immense values to the growth of the Nigerian Travels, Tours and Hospitality Industry, as well as the Entertainment Industry is one of the Nigerians in diaspora who strongly believe in the growth of the country’s economy.

Climax Travel and Tours has grown to be a notable organisation in the areas of various visa application categories to various countries including study abroad visa and temporary work permit for which the company is highly respected. In his view, the MD/CEO of the organisation made it known that to sustain organisational success in Study Abroad and other visa categories, honesty, integrity and understanding what the business entails are very important.

Speaking on this, he stated that, “I focused on specific international travel programmes and assisted clients, then I started travelling abroad, precisely to the United Kingdom, after which I  took the necessary step to proceed for  further education by acquiring a degree in Travels, Tourism and Hospitality from the University of Sunderland in UK”.

With about one and a half decade of existence, Climax Travel and Tours has been creating employment and solutions for clients on visa application, consultations, air-ticketing and hotel reservations and study abroad programmes. Their services also cover other visa application categories such as visits, family visits, settlement, temporary work permits and others.

His enviable array of clients are made up of notable celebrities in the music, films and entertainment industry.

Having worked with various top artistes and celebrities, and with the combined efforts and synergy among the two organisations that he sits atop, Mr Jamiu Abiodun Ojediran has successfully initiated and partnered with others to host music and entertainment events in the UK, South Africa, United Arab Emirates and Turkey. He explained, “come to think of it, the same set of artistes, celebrities and public figures we served in Climax Travels and Tours make up a sizeable number of those patronising Climax Entertainment and Events, if we had not built effective customer relations with them in the travels and tourism sector, will they be patronising us in the entertainment and events sector?”

Mr Jamiu Abiodun Ojediran strongly believes that the Nigerian Travels, Tours and Hospitality Industry as well as the Entertainment Industry can greatly add to the country’s foreign exchange and GDP just like the British Royal family which generates about 500 million British pounds for UK tourism each year through tourist visits to Buckingham palace, Windsor Castle, Tower of London and other monarchy heritage attractions.

“Nigeria has the likes of Osun Osogbo, the Kano Durbar, Ofala, the Argungun Fishing festival and many other fascinating events and tourism sites that can attract visitors and patronage from various parts of the world. So if the travels, tourism and hospitality industry is well organised with the government’s strong backing you can imagine how much we stand to make”, he stated.

Abiodun was not part of President Tinubu’s team to India- says Ogun PDP

The embarrassing postures of Mr. Dapo Abiodun, the outgoing Governor of Ogun State have assumed a reckless dimension. 𝙈𝙧. 𝘼𝙗𝙞𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙪𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨, 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩.
Few days ago, the Governor, in his usual character, boastfully went to town to announce his return to office as if he made any official communication to the State House of Assembly telling them about his Absence Without Leave (AWOL); nor of his wilful abandonment of his official responsibilities which has robbed the State of direction.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ogun State is persuaded that Mr. Abiodun is completely overwhelmed with a cloud of desperation to seek for support against his impending loss at the election petition tribunal where none exists. This explains his increasing penchant for jumping on every available flight to join the President and his entourage which he is not invited. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙈𝙧. Mr. Abiodun’s ill-fated India trip has once again, confirmed his ugly habit of always smuggling himself into Mr. President’s entourage uninvited for no tenable official reason(s) other than ego-massaging and attention seeking.
Again, we are bold enough to ask Mr. Abiodun to tell his employers, the Ogun State taxpayers; the very people whose financial resources he has been recklessly throwing around, the kind of investment that has been attracted to the State since he started junketing all over while thousands of pensioners and workers are dying daily from hunger and penury resulting from non-release of their entitlements since 2012.
Ordinarily, the current revelations on how the Governor has been diverting Local Government statutory allocations and other funds are enough reasons for any sensible and sensitive public officer to sit back and reflect on the kind of enduring legacies he hopes to bequeath to the good people of Ogun State.
Therefore, our great party is 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 to show more than a passing interest and beam their searchlights 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙥𝙤 𝘼𝙗𝙞𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙣-𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝘼𝙋𝘾 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚.
The Fraud units of all the security agencies should stand on the side of the Ogun State people in these trying times, by taking note of all these reckless expenditures that are in no way impacting the lives of the average citizens bearing in mind that the first line of security is the economic security and the welfare of the citizens. A spendrift leader has definitely compromised the economic prosperity of its citizens, and the people should and must be protected.

It would be recalled that the project was suspended in 2015 due to unforeseen circumstances but rejuvenated by the Nigerian Government through its High Commission in Jamaica that is concurrently accredited to Haiti in 2022

The mission after satisfying due process requirements, awarded the contract to a Jamaican based Benson Construction Company. Despite all odds including security challenges in Haiti, the project commenced in February 2023 and was completed in record time by 23rd of August, 2023.
