Lagos Socialite, Oludare Lawanson’s Humanitarian Movement Takes A New Leap

Society Elite Oludare Lawanson son of the late chief Olu Lawanson continues to evolve on his humanitarian movement in honor of his beloved Father. 
In a recent statement, he said he started feeding people of Agboyi-Ketu every 10th-11th of December to mark as a remembrance of his father Chief Olu Lawanson,he said he chose 10th-11th because his Father’s birthday is on the 12th of December. 
He started this philanthropic movement in 2021 and he fed over 5000 people,he called this movement COLD which stands for Chief Olu Lawanson day.
A bonafide son of the soil, from the Lawanson Aborishade ruling house in Lawanson Surulere Lagos state.
In 2022, this good act of charity evolved when he founded Chief Olu Lawanson Foundation.To mark this growth, the foundation hosted a football competition alongside the food drive of feeding 5000 people in Agboyi-Ketu 
The football competition is a reoccurring one that is called Agboyi-Ketu Unity cup.The purpose of the competition is to bring the youth of Agboyi ketu together because a whole lot of killings was going on in the community at the time.Mr Oludare is indeed man of the people who live for the people, not only does he say it,he show it in his selfless contributions to his community even after his father’s demise. 
In the football competition, cash prizes are given to the winners. 
This year 2023,the foundation also launched its water project themed Clean water for the people of Agboyi-Ketu. The aim of this project is to create a number of water borehole facilities in strategic areas of the community to solve the serious scarcity of clean water, this made it easy for residents to have easy access to water. 
The foundation is on the water project now till December when it will host the Agboyi-Ketu Unity cup and the food Drive again.Useful items like clothes, shoes, food ingredients, toys for kids and various basic needs will be given out to everyone in the community. 
Regardless of his father status in the society ,Mr Oludare Lawanson has amassed so much for himself.He is a business man and a politician.He holds a first class bachelors degree in Information technology (IT) from Lovely Professional University (LPU) India. He holds a masters degree in Information Technology Network Security from Conestoga University in Ontario Canada. He is on the board of directors of A.O Lawanson Nigeria LTD and Bridget Platinum Insurance brokers,and Co-founded Barbeque and Booze Lounge. But his never-forgetting creation would continue to be the Chief Olu Lawanson Foundation and his philanthropic devotion toward humanity.

Aare Adetola Emmanuelking Graces OGD’s Annual Family Thanksgiving Service

Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, the Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Remoland, attended the 20th Annual Family Thanksgiving Service of His Excellency, Senator Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel (FNSE, FAEng, FNIMechE), on Sunday, January 19, 2025. The event was held at Abraham’s Tabernacle, GRA, Sagamu.

As a distinguished guest, Aare Adetola delivered a goodwill message that resonated deeply with the congregation, celebrating His Excellency’s  commitment to faith and gratitude. In his address, Aare Adetola praised his dedication to honoring God over the past two decades. He remarked, “This annual family thanksgiving service, now marking its remarkable 20th edition, is proof of God’s grace and the enduring legacy of a man devoted to the service of humanity, his faith, and our beloved Remoland.”

He lauded His Excellency’s tradition of bringing together family, friends, and well-wishers in gratitude and encouraged attendees to embrace a life of thanksgiving.

Aare Adetola’s presence at the event underscored his reputation as a devout Christian and a respected community leader. Renowned for his philanthropic contributions and support for the development of Remoland, he used the occasion to inspire hope and a sense of purpose for the year 2025. He also offered prayers for continued blessings, health, and prosperity for Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel and his family.

Esa-Oke, Osun State — The Chairman and CEO of Adron Group, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, has been conferred with the prestigious 2024 Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH) Fellowship Award (FOSCOT). The honor was presented during the institution’s 8th Combined Convocation Ceremony, in recognition of his outstanding achievements and enduring contributions to society.

It was an atmosphere filled with love when the families, friends and associates of Mayegun Adekunle Dally-Adeokun, Olori-ebi of Adeokun-Olaboyede(Olisa) royal family, Ijebu-Ode honoured him and his beautiful wife, Evangelist Olayide, in Ibadan, Oyo state at the walimatul-Nikkah of his son, Lukmon Adekunle Jnr to his beau, Faahidat Omowunmi, delectable daughter of Alhaji Suleyman and Alhaja Tawakalit Balogun on Saturday, 23 November 2024 .

The colour of the day, Teal Green and Magenta ruled the hall of the Citron Events Centre as guests turned out glamourously to celebrate with the couple.

The solemnization of the union was done in a strict Islamic tradition. Nikkah lecture was given by Sheikh Dr. Bashir Ayodeji Eleshinmeta, Ansar-ud-Deen Society, Missioner, Oyo State. Are Dr. Abdul Rafiu Ademola Sanni, President, Ansar ud deen Society( Nigeria and overseas) was the father of the day.,

Distinguished guests at the wedding included: Oba Abdul Rasheed Adesanya, FCA, Olisa of Ijebu-Ode; Hon. The Nikkah was followed by a classy reception and after party where guests were treated to continental and traditional dishes even as drinks flowed freely
