OAU ’97 Accounting Graduates Give Back to Alma Mater

The Accounting graduates, 1997 class of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, have donated some items to the institution.
This is part of the activities marking the silver jubilee graduation celebrations of the 1997 set.
The ex-students donated multiplex photocopying machines, multimedia projectors with screens, mobile public address systems, and 1.5hp split air conditioning units as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility project (CSR) to their former department.
A team made up of the President, Jeremiah Adeyemi; General Secretary Najeem Ajani; Director of Impact Projects and Welfare Mutiu Olayiwola; Asst. General Secretary Bunmi Olowonyo; Financial Secretary Eunice Okunlola, and other members, visited the university to hand over learning aids to the Department of Management and Accounting of the school.
The team was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Administration Professor, Fagbohun, Vice Dean Dr Salawu, Head of the Department of Management and Accounting, Professor Grace Akinola, and other senior staff of the department including Professor Salawu.
Adeyemi said the items donated to the department symbolised their appreciation of the work the department did in shaping them into responsible adults in the society.
