The Bundesliga club is reportedly preparing an offer between €18 million and €20 million to bring the 25-year-old winger back to Signal Iduna Park for a third stint.

Sancho, sidelined at United after a public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, spent the latter half of the 2023–24 season on loan at Dortmund, where he helped the team reach the UEFA Champions League final.

Though Sancho has returned to Old Trafford, he remains on United’s transfer list and is training separately from the first team.

Chelsea opted out of a permanent deal after failing to agree personal terms, and Juventus paused interest due to financial concerns.

Sancho’s record at Dortmund remains strong, with 109 goal contributions in 125 games during his first three years at the club.

Dortmund’s Champions League qualification and recent player sales have boosted their budget, but wage demands could complicate negotiations.
