Gaise Baba receives rare praise from Pastor Adeboye after his reimagined version of the hymn “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus” was highlighted at the 73rd Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

During the convention, the highly respected General Overseer, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, introduced the hymn to the congregation, pointing out its renewed popularity thanks to Gaise Baba’s contemporary gospel remix.

“This is a song we sang when I was young and someone has remodeled it beautifully,” Pastor Adeboye said.

“Sing it with total determination—let this be your song for life.”

The heartfelt endorsement left fans stunned, especially the artist himself, who took to Instagram to react.

“God crowned my birthday last night with a most AMAZING GIFT. To Him be ALL the Glory!!!!” Gaise Baba wrote.
